If I were Leader of my country the first issue I would address would be safety in schools.
I would focus a lot on weapon possession and bullying. These are some of the most
important problems in the Mongolia, but there are many ways to prevent these conflicts.
Children are our future, and exposure to violence could mold them into the wrong
type of individuals to represent our country.Bullying is a major issue in our schools.
Children miss school just to avoid being tormented by a bully. Almost seven percent of eighth
graders miss school once a month because of this. About half of the students who physically harm
another sent a threat previously to the same student. The bullies are victims,
too, because they are also harming themselves. They are more likely to smoke,
abuse drugs, drink alcohol, and physically get into fights. Most violent outbreaks
occur during “transition times” such as between classes, before and after school, and at
lunch in the cafeteria. Peer pressure is a factor in violence and bullying.More teacher involvement
with students who need attention, or are displaying abnormal behavior, would help, also. Search dogs
could find harmful substances in lockers. If everyone has a bus to ride home, there can’t be any
violence on a walk home or to school. There can be programs, activities, and assemblies about
bullying, violence, and accepting others.
this is why I would focus on school safety if I were Leader of my country.
Children’s welfare is one of the most important things. They are our future.
I can summarize with this quotation by Jodi Rell. “At the end of the day, the goals are simple: safety, and security.”
It's an essay for social studies. I'm only in 8th grade, and I've only ever done one other essay.
I've never been taught formally on how to draft an essay. Is it OK to just hit "Tab"
when you're indenting? That's what I did on MS Word but the indents looked pretty big on there.
For some reason it wouldn't let me indent on here, so the arrows represent indents.
